Tap, mixer and bathtub producer Zucchetti.Kos has received a 2017 Good Design award for its Closer collection of single-lever mixers, which were designed by Diego Grandi.

　　The Closer collection was chosen as the winner of the bath/accessories category, beating “thousands” of projects that were nominated from 55 countries.

　　According to the company, the win “acknowledges the Zucchetti.Kos group’s bathroom design, its commitment to research in technology and dedication to creating beautiful and desirable objects”.

　　Every year since 1950, the Chicago Athanaeum Museum of Architecture and Design – in partnership with the European Centre for Architecture, Art, Design and Urban Studies – has awarded companies with the Good Design awards.

　　The Closer tap collection will become part of the Chicago Athanaeum Museum’s permanent collection. It will also be featured in the 2016-2017 Good Design Yearbook.
